Training 21-10-2016 squat 3x3 180kg bench 3x3 110kg deadlift 2x3 180kg

Classic squats went easier and I hope to gain some weights in my raw squats. Most important if I (and my leg will hold the pressure) In the pas wasn't an issue, so I have to keep faith wink 3x3 180kg wasn't problem. Bench press went easy too 3x3 110kg (although in my 1st I felt something strange in my chest muscle). Deadlift without belt 2x3 180kg. I'm curious what the coming weeks will bring in progress of my raw lifting.

Road to the Powerlifting Nationals 2017 .... starts with recovey....... :-)

This year no competitions more. On this stage a good decission. We decided not to qualify for the Classic Nationals (decmber 2016) and take the coming time to do proper trainingcycle towards to the (Equipped) Nationals end of February 2017. The last two years I got several injuries, so I'm pleased I can do now all excersises without pain (expect my face problem).

5th place IPF Worlds Master I Powerifting -120kg class

Today I became 5th at the IPF Worlds Masters I Powerlifting 2016 -120kg. It was a tough meet. The last few weeks been very tough / hard for myself. Nevertheless I'm proud that I was standing on the platform. Warm-up squat went good. Also my opener with 300kg went very good. In my 2nd attempt I wasn't steady enough stepping out and made the right foot stance. At the bottom of the squat I blew my self up. This costed me a lot of energy (for the rest of the meet). In my 3rd attempt I grab myself together and fought for it and I got it in 312,5kg.

Tonight I wasn't 100% focused nevertheless it was good enough. Although I didn't make my depth on squats. Made first a single with 285kg and followed with a double 285kg. All three weren't good. Power is good, so we will hit it next week smiley Bench press I haven't recorded, finished with only 1x135kg, not shirt bench press. Sumo deadlift felt good enough for next 2x2 230kg. One week to go for the Worlds......
