'Light' training makes you stronger wink Therefore I like my Monday- and Wednesday training. Today's training. Closer grip bench press 2x3 100kg felt good. Step by step my bench strength is coming back yes Slow squats, without belt and no sleeves, felt also good.

Training gives me a good distraction, what I need. So it is nice it is going steady and step by step better at this point. At this stage I don't  use my belt and sleeves with my pause squats. Do you what to know the reason of this?

Had a great training. Yesterday therapy helped a lot. Had dry needling inmy right leg. Felt still tension in my right leg, where I torn my muscle. And today it felt much better and is was easier for me making the squat movement. Although I made some technical error, I had no problem to correct myself and put all my power in my squats laugh Bench press is reallly going better and better. Today I finished with 3x3 120kg.

Training is going well at this stage. Bench press is going easier, so I can do it with my legs up. Strength is gaining. I'm curious how my normal bench press will go on Friday. Slow squats are improving. My style (holding the line) is going better. Also without belt/sleeves/wrist wraps so also my (raw) squat strength is improving. Coming Friday some more sets raw (normal) squats, so this will show if my strength is really gaining. Deadlifting from blocks felt also good without belt. So overall step by step is going well with my training...

Step by step is really going well, due my personal circumstance. I'm glad I'm able to train, this gives me a big relieve. Training is helping to stay and/or get back on my path. At this stage it isn't easy for me. I'm curious when I can go to Groningen for the intake. 

Today's  trainings pause squats (no belt, no sleeves) like the old ways surprise 2x3 150kg. Closer grip bench press 2x3 107,5kg. It is nice that my bench press is really improving the last weeks. When I will able to bench press my sets on Friday, a single with 140kg won't be a problem any more yes Also did some assistance work "ofcours" angel

Okay I will start about my personal situation about my Trigeminal neuralgia. The last was very heavy again, although I was able to train. So I was glad I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday. All steps are taken by the pain clinic. The doctor will a reffarel to the hosipal in Groningen where they can do the surgery. At this stage I got mixed feelings about, because the surgery is still something special. Most of all I feel some comfort, because this step will be taken.

Pause squats (today without belt) just to feel how it felt. 3x5 150kg felt good enough. Bench press with narrower grip felt easy 3x4 95kg. Assistance work went pretty well too. Friday a small test with 200kg raw squats. Video will follow......
