Not every Sunday as you have been <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2367\" src=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG-20180928-WA0014-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG-20180928-WA0014-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG-20180928-WA0014-768x1366.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG-20180928-WA0014-576x1024.jpg 576w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG-20180928-WA0014.jpg 899w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/>noticing, but for sure every now and then. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Yesterday was my first equipped training in my brand new suit. Let me tell you\u2026\u2026.I (think) I never felt so much physical discomfort during a training before.\u00a0\u00a0Two weeks a go I got in my suit for the first time and was not able to squat 70KG properly. When coach told me that we would try out the new suit this weekend I thought it would be for squats only and not even all of them. Just some reps and then get out of it. Oh gosh what was I mistaking. I learned in the hard way that assumption is the mother of all f*ck ups. Pardon my French. Yes indeed, that\u2019s for sure the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">I wore the new suit the whole training, that means for squats, bench and deadlifts. Diclaimer: that was a choice. But getting in the suit was a hell of a job. So when I got asked to take it out (inbetween bench and deadlifts I chose to keep it on). BIG MISTAKE. My legs were screaming for help the entire training and still are.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2359 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"840\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs-1200x1200.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Beurs.jpg 1599w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Since I am a GENIUS, before training, I was so smart to rub some warming lotion on my legs to activate the muscles. Not taking in to account that I had to get in the suit using plastic bags over my legs. So within 5 minutes in to the training I was burning like hell; friction + sweat + friction + light weights + more friction = CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. I\u2019ll never make that mistake again in my entire life. Coach was having the time of his life\u2026laughing so hard, that he couldn\u2019t even put on the kneewraps. Telling me that history of 20 years ago is repeating itself. Somethings never change I guess. <em>The equipment and time area changes, but the intelligence of the people stays the same.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">In to the training:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Squats went good, especially for being in my suit for the first time. I\u2019m close to hitting depth and am focusing on a steady walk out with my new suit. Coach @wimwam1 having my back at all times means a lot to me. Even if\u00a0it\u00a0means putting me under a lot of pressure to deal with myself and getting things done. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Bench pressing in my new shirt is something I\u2019m getting more and more in to. Bench pressing is a piece of art by itself and am still putting effort in mastering this the best I can, even with those strong long arms of mine. At deadlifts I\u2019ve noticed that It\u2019s even more important to keep my technique on point in this new suit. Not acting and looking like a banana will make a lot of difference. The tailor will see me very soon to get it altered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2358 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/back.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"931\" height=\"810\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/back.jpg 931w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/back-300x261.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/back-768x668.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 931px) 100vw, 931px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Furthermore there are some other things that need my attention &amp; I\u2019ll be working on that the coming weeks. Paying more attention on keeping my daily schedule on point, making myself and taking rest a priority <em>again<\/em>. This week I\u2019ve learned that taking charge of things is actually not the same as taking charge of yourself. Putting myself on the backseat, instead of the driversseat, is not contributing to where I want and need to go. So it\u2019s time to switch it up!!!!
