This week the focus was on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recovery. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While typing this a saying I once heard goes through my head: <em>Recovery is not for people\u00a0 who need it, it\u2019s for people who want\u00a0 it. And it\u2019s never too late to join the party.<a href=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/recovery.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3020\" src=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/recovery-300x188.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/recovery-300x188.webp 300w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/recovery-768x480.webp 768w, https:\/\/wimwam.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/recovery.webp 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nFor me this also raises the question: but what does recovery actually means? The way you deal with muscle aches, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">preventing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 injuries (big and small), lowering your stress levels..\u2026it&#8217;s all important and will benefit you in the long run if you have a plan by hand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week <\/span><b>celebrating <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the existence of recovery meant treating myself to an acupuncture session to release the soreness and stiffness in my legs. And going back to the gym (since they reopened last friday here in the Netherland).\u00a0 I found myself doing way overdue assistive work. And I can honestly say\u2026.I enjoyed it. Not because of the fact I wasn\u2019t moving loads and loads of KG\u2019s.
